Ed, is the best!
First of all let me start by saying I could not have gotten through the passing of
my beloved dog Deebo without Ed from the Pet Memorial Center of Rochester. From the
moment I heard his voice I knew he was a kind and gentle spirit, the exact thing
you need when going through a terrible loss. I wanted to plan ahead for Deebo, who
had DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) I did not want the time to come when she passed
away, and the stranger at the desk is asking me what I wanted to do with the body.

Ed was a previous funeral director for humans and since my dogs are human to me, he knew exactly what I needed. I was prepared and at ease. That awful night came, and when I called Ed at 3:30 in the morning (a concerned and welcoming voice answered, not an angry 'who the heck’s calling me at 3:30 AM’ voice. Deebo was going downhill, I was hysterical, Ed calmed me and counseled me on what to do, I made it through with his direction.
I never, never got an answering machine the many, many times I called him with questions and concerns. He was there at my beck and call, and helped me through the process . He provided all the information I needed in the aftermath. I have some memorabilia that Ed had to offer. I have a garden flag with Deebo's picture, a nose print necklace, of Deebo's actual nose, I had picked out a beautiful urn, and I always have Ed. I needed Ed recently suddenly, with a terrible experience I had with a foster dog, and he was there, once again, at my beck and call, making phone calls and helping me through the process. He is truly an earth angel and he will always be there for me and my beloved dog babies. If you love your animal babies, I urge you to prepare ahead, it will make the process a little easier for your aching loss. You never know, I was lucky to have met Ed before the awful loss. It made me feel better to have a face to a name, and I felt at ease, and safe. I would urge anyone to take advantage of this service and secure your dogs funeral arrangements, it costs nothing, but creates a piece of mind! . Thank you Ed for being there, please never go away!
